Plant Material

All accessions listed are currently present in the collection. Nevertheless, the presence of an accession does not necessarily mean that seed material is available for distribution. Moreover, the wild bean collection held at Meise Botanic Garden has been registred in 2012 under the "Multilateral Sytem of Access and Benefit-sharing" (MLS) established in the framework of the International Treaty on Plant Resources for Food and Agriculture (ITPGRFA; http://www.planttreaty.org/). Therefore the provision of seed and/or plant material is subject to the signing of a Standard Material Transfer Agreement (SMTA), using the "Online SMTA Generating and Reporting tool" (OSGR) of the MLS : http://mls.planttreaty.org. The seed material will be dispatched when the SMTA is signed for acceptance.

Research publications resulting from the use of genetic material should acknowledge Meise Botanic Garden as the supplier. A copy of which is expected to be sent to the Garden, without request.

By ordering seed or other plant material, the recipient accepts and pledges to respect the above conditions.
