Plant Material
All accessions listed are currently present in the collections of the Garden. Nevertheless, the presence of an accession does not necessarily mean that material is available for distribution. Moreover, in response to the Convention on Biodiversity (Rio de Janeiro, 1992), material is only provided to institutions working in the areas of research, conservation and education. No material is provided to individuals or commercial enterprises. Furthermore, any material obtained may not be used to generate commercial profit. Finally, material or its progeny passed on to third parties must adhere to the same conditions.
Correspondents should check with their own authorities concerning import regulations and include any necessary permits with their order.
Research publications resulting from the use of genetic material should acknowledge Meise Botanic Garden as the supplier. A copy of which is expected to be sent to the Botanic Garden, without request.
By ordering seed or other plant material, the recipient accepts and pledges to respect the above conditions.
